Long Island Opera 2012-2013 Auditions
We have received an overwhelming number of applicants for the 2012-2013 auditions. We are thrilled by the talent and poise of the potential candidates.
Long Island Opera is holding one more round of auditions in NYC on Saturday, June 2, 2012. If you would like to be considered for LIO’s 2012-2013 season please provide the following:
- Email headshot, resume, and brief bio to: lionycauditions@gmail.com
- In the subject line, please include “Audition Request 2012”
- There is a $25 Audition fee payable in advance via PayPal link below.
- You will be notified via email if you are selected for an audition.
LIO Audition Requirements:
- Come prepared with five arias, varying in language and style.
- Please bring a hard copy of your resume and headshot.
- A pianist will be provided, but you may bring your own pianist.
General Audition Information:
- Long Island Opera encourages both managed and unmanaged artists to audition.
- Some roles are double-cast, and will offer cover opportunities.
- Long Island Opera is also seeking resident artists and young artists for its ongoing community outreach and educational programs .
- The $25 audition fee is required in advance to confirm your audition. *
*The audition fee covers administrative and operational costs necessary to hold auditions. No refunds will be granted.
